The power is very dangerous and therefore I’m afraid to use it. I don’t belive I could say what chnges I would like to do in the world, the power is a weapon too hard to handle. However, I would try to think some ideas which are reassure this question. Firstly I would fulfill my dreams of becoming a famous and creative architect who will help people by creating confortable houses with little money. Secondly I will help the people who are in difficulty by creating new jobs at my future business. What’s more, I would like to encourage teenagers to work not to expected cash from parents. (by Adam Sabin, 16 years old, Student from Romania)
Everyone wants to have the power in their hands, like in “Power Rangers” when we were kids. Yes, funny, but let’s talk about the serious things that affect our life. Everyone wants to run the whole world, to be king. When I was younger, my parents taught me to care about the environment and now it is my turn. It is my turn to encourage people to contribute to saving it. Earth is dearer than gold, so I would make some considerable changes that are going to create a new world: “The Green World”. First of all, I would find alternative sources of energy and I would build a machine which gives people money when they introduce something recyclable. Another incredible idea would be to set up a special system of alarms on the ground, so when somebody tries to throw something, an alarm will warn him/her to pick up the trash. Earth is our world…Earth is our home! (by Roxana Elena Tugulea, 16 years old, Student from Romania)
There are so many thing I would like to change about the world and some might not be possible, but if I am going to do something, I might as well have a plan. Firstly, I would change all political systems to a socialist one, with a one-year elected president, and if they do a good job, they can be re-elected the next year. Hoping that there will be no more conflicts, all the money used on the army would go into the education, medicine and scientific research because, after all, these are the main areas where we lack funding. Another thing that I would do to make the world better would be creating jobs in disadvantaged countries, so that all people could earn a living. The main thing that I think would generate many jobs is a field of solar panels that could generate enough power for a few small countries that are in an economic crisis. Also, I believe that there should be no minorities. And I don’t discourage communication between countries, I actually encourage it. But the nomad people should have a country of their own. There they will be able to express their traditions without being bothered or bothering anyone else. As a last change, I think that people who help others and make good deeds should be promoted more instead of these false values that we see every day on TV. There are many politicians that are supposed to help us, simple people become better but they do the exact opposite, and that kind of people should be disciplined, removed from their high positions and exchanged for people that actually want to help others. These things I cannot do alone but, if we stick together, we may not make the word perfect, but it sure will be a better place. (by Stefan Cosmin Visca, 17 years old, Student from Romania)
If you ask me, if I had enough power in my hands to change this world, I would definitely do that. With one hand, I would try to offer a job to every citizen because many people leave this country, especially the smart people. If all of the smart people went abroad, our country would have nothing to be proud of. I also want to give to every teenager over sixteen years old the chance to work during the summer holiday to earn some money. And, with the other hand, I would like to try to convince the government to sponsor each person with a vacation in another country because everyone needs to visit them but they haven’t got the money. (by Maria Roncea, 15 years old, Student from Romania)
If the power would be in my hands, first of all I would like to change people’s diets. Food in its majority is synthetic/chemical. This has been produced many changes on the behaviour of people and especially on children. Some children have become addicted to all sorts of food/sweets that contain many chemicals and therefore I think they have become more vicious, insensitive and less sociable. I think this is a huge global problem and that’s why urgent actions have to be taken until it is too late. (by Dan Chihaia, 45 years old, Teacher from Romania)
If I had the power to change, I would change the people because, in my opinion, all problems start with them: like wars or environmental issues. I don’t understand this world, where people are mean, disrespectful and all that matters for them are themselves. Nowadays, we don’t care about the homeless, about the number of people that kill themselves because they were hurt or about our children’s future who are going to live in a world full of waste. All that matters for us is our confort-zone! I want to change that! I want to live in a world with kind honest, smart and hard-working people. The power is in our hands to let them understand that they can make society better if they change themselves. (by Adriana Cristina Basoc, 15 years old, Student from Romania)
If I had the power in my hands, I like to change technology in this world. The people use often “this opportunity” for easy things than do something with their hands; it should be used only when necessary. In my opinion, in the future, humanity won’t have a social life, they will have a virtual and misfortunate one. People will get estranged from nature and they will know the beauty from images. This part of us will disappear so we won’t know what is happiness, work or true friends who can be ready to die to save us. In fact it is our choice, but nobody understands that technology becomes too important for our life...Just take a flower and smell it! (by Maria Ilie, 15 years old, Student from Romania)
Power can change a man, so we have to know how to use it.If I had the power I would change plenty of things in this world. To begin with, I would like to live in cleaner and less polluted world. We can use things again if we recycle rather than throw away and it would be a good idea to plant more trees, not to cut them down. Also, everyone should try to clean up beaches, and not pollute them. More land is used for farms, houses or industry, and there are fewer open spaces than there once were. In my opinion, all these facts should disappeared If we want a civilized and respectable world. (by Claudiu Bogdan Leahu, 16 years old, Student from Romania)
A project that needs to be promoted these days is that of animals with no shelter. In my opinion, we all should give a little love to animals that have been abandoned by their owners, justrising founds for housing and feeding then. These animals, like cats and dogs, can us instead a lot of love. Thees we can became better human beeings. If I were a very importantperson I would do all these things in a day. But now, I’m just a student full of desire to make a better world to live in. (by Alexandra Bianca Costache, 16 years old, Student from Romania)
In my opinion, the world would be a better place if people didn’t judge each other because, then they would trust themselves more. Do you know there are people who are creating fake identities for themselves in order to feel safe and unknown? Well, usually, when when these people return to their real life they become more insecure about themselves. They think that if people knew who those fake identities are, they would judge them even more. If I had the power to change something in this world, I would stop people from judging each other and I would put honesty in the first place. (by Tudor Neacsu, 16 years old, Student from Romania)
This world would be a marvelous place if we knew how to live and protect each other. If I only had the power to change the way we treat life, I would firstly stop the hunger in the world using the money spent on useless buildings and projects to help starving people all around Africa especially. After my job here is done, I would travel the world making some research to find new cures for incurable diseases. I would spend my entire life trying to make people’s life easier to live, to make them understand that following their passion, having a positive attitude and expressing their emotions is the way to be happy. I would make them remember the value of life, to find the key to happiness. (by Teodora Alexa Scripcaru, 16 years old, Student from Romania)

If I could make a difference in the world, I would start by erasing corruption worldwide. I realize is not fair that people who have power and resources steals from the poor ones, who can't decide themselves what is good or not. The kind of person who puts his needs above than the others needs and doesn't care about the good of citizens, is a bad example not just for teenagers, who would choose the same because they probably understand is easy way to make money without doing nothing, but is a bad example even for grown ups. Maybe I can't do this alone but together we're stronger and we can change the world in a better place! (by Andra Elena Belcianu, 16 years old, Student from Romania)
If I had enough power to change this world, I would change lots of things. First of all, I would try to contact every homeless person in this world and give him/her a house and a job, because from my point of view this is the most important problem. After that, I would try to save some endangered species of animals, because they can make our lives more beautiful and with them, we can be better people. Then, I would want to change the relation between some countries, because there must be peace all over the world. I think that this problems are the most important and can affect our lives in a bad way, that`s why they must be solved. (by Denisa Ioana Pantiru , 16 years old, Student from Romania)
If I had the power in my hand, I would like to make this world better than it is. Frist of all, I would try to help people who are sick: I’d build hospitals, special centres for homeless people and children, because I think they need more attention from us. I’d try to convince the people who have the power in different countries to make new changes together, maybe if they see the real world where we are living and where we are influenced by different mishappenings and people, they would change their mentality. Because this planet is very polluted, I would try to protect it. With some help, I’d plant a lot of trees in all forests across the globe. I’d formulate rules to protect animals who are being hunted and endangered. If I can, I would to make the school a place where we learn new things with pleasure. In my opinion these are some ideas to change the world, but I think the world would change if we change ourselves. (by Carmen Alexandra Botezatu, 16 years old, Student from Romania)
Nowadays, in some countryes, the power is in the hands of someone who isn’t fit to rule. In my opinion, power isn’t just the ability to control everything but is the desire to do something good for development. Firstly, if the power were in my hand, I would make some changes in the health department. Every hospital would be equipped with international technologies that can satisfy the needs of the population. The ambulances would be new and in every hospital there would exist good, skilled doctors with advanced studies. Secondly, I would do something about the fauna especially the one from the zoo. Every animal will live in an artificial eco-system which is exactly the same as their natural habit. There would be plenty of food and for every animal there would be also a doctor. All in all, those who wish for the development of the society using unharmful methods are the ones who should have the power. (by Alexandra Merlusca, 16 years old, Student from Romania)
First of all, if I were to be the most influential man on earth, I would try to eradicate poverty worldwide. It seems unfair to me that children from third world countries to be facing starvation, from suffer diseases and have no access to education. Things like these seem unbelievable to those surrounding us, but it is the truth. I would try to develop a thorough and fair juridiciary system, in order to be able to punish anyone who wants to break the rules of environment protection and human rights. (by Daniel Crintea, 16 years old, Student from Romania)
If you ask me, I would like to change a lot of things in this world if I had the power in my hands. Firstly, I would make many associations for the young people who want to help the Earth and I would build a lot of shelters for the homeless where they would receive a hot meal and a bed everyday. Then, I would encourage young people to do much exercise for their bodies, to give up fast food, cigarettes and alcohol because all of these lead to incourable diseases. I would set up democracy in all the countries of the world. I would try to do something so that all the people have a job and a reasonable salary and I would try to develop agriculture, recycle a lot of materials, a lot of papers, to save trees and to plant flowers to make beautiful parks where people can walk happily. (by Elena Peptisor, 15 years old, Student from Romania)
In my opinion, the area where a lot of changes should be made is the political doctrine. I’m referring to democracy. A lot of people consider that democracy is the ideal system because it promotes the concept of equality, but we must admit that equality among humans is a goal that can’t be reached by any country or people. A doctrine that could make our society better is meritocracy. This system is based on the following principles:“You start from the same point as everyone else, and you go as far as your talents take you” and “The highest rewards for the highest achievers”. I think that meritocracy is much closer to reality than democracy because, after all, it’s not what you are, it’s what you achieve in life. (by Mihnea Mihai Matache, 16 years old, Student from Romania)
Today we confront serious problem, and I'm not referring to money. I’m referring to respect for our temple, The Earth, which is full of vegetations, fascinating animals and breathtaking landscapes. If I had the power to chance something, I would begin with teaching people to respect their home, The Earth and all “HER” natural riches. We all treat “HER”disrespectful by hurting “HER”. We litter and pollute “HER” and we steal “HER” riches and beauty. Not to mention that we ignore and destroy animals and their homes for our comfort. I would plant a lot of trees, clean the mess caused by humans and I would cure the animals. I think they have more rights to live here than the humans, because their actions don’t harm the planet. After that, I’ll try to explain to all the people that the most important in life is the peace between us, the health and the education. I would try to assure a system of education and health for everybody by building hospitals and schools all around the world. In conclusion, I would like to see The Earth clean, full of greenery and with respectful people who take care of their home. (by Cristina Maria Iorgu, 17 years old, Student from Romania)
If I had the power to change the world I would start by dissolving all the military alliances and establish an “International resources and territorial congress” where all conflicts could be solved by negotiation or realistic war games. Without military alliances we may let some countries defenceless, but this problem could be solved with occupation troops sent by the United Nation to protect key and cities and provinces. Another thing I would do is reestablishing socialism in countries such as Russia and those from Est Europe, but unlike communism, to let the people the freedom of speech and the right to believe in their own god. I would take this decision because I think that socialism and capitalism work better together, even if they are opposite economic systems. (by Vlad Alexandru Petrica, 16 years old, Student from Romania)
If I could change anything in this world I do it sincerely. First I'd like to change people's behavior, which is very careless lately. Each of us thinks only of ourselves without caring about others. The second thing I'd like to change that in this world would not exist illiterate. If people help each other surely every man will be able to even learn to read and write, but that takes support them and help those concerned. One last thing that I would like to change would be to protect the environment and animals. Lot of species of plants and animals are endangered. She's all our fault and we could repair the mistake, but everything depends on us. (by Emanuela Larisa Budau, 15 years old, Student from Romania)
Nowadays, this world isn’t a safe place anymore. Imagine how life would be if everyone could walk alone outside in the dark without worrying about what could happen to them. Another problem, which is one of the biggest, is pen pals or online friends. In my opinion, we can’t be certain of whom is the girl or boy for real, because more and more people are using fake identities, pretending they are someone else. A lot of dangerous men are able to do things that lead to major issues for others and nobody takes any measure. All in all, if I had the power to change something in this world, I would change people and their actions. (by Miruna Alesia Muntean, 15 years old, Student from Romania)
If the power were inmy own hands, I wouls like to do some cheanges in the world were I live and in the world where I hope to do something for people, for a better life. But this, in my opinion, can not happen without a cleaner world, without people who really want this. Firstly, I wouls set up institutions at international level to solve this matter. Also, I wouls try to stop the destruction of the environment, for example deforestation, and I would encourage planting of trees. Together, we can do this! (by Stefan Toma, 16 years old, Student from Romania)
