If I had the power in my hands, I would change people and their way of thinking about world. I would try to create a carefree future. I would teach them to be honest, to appreciate the simple things in life, for example: the sunshine, a flower, the sea waves and I would make them understand that life is the best thing we have! In my opinion the way in which we choose to live our life depends on the education aspirations that we have, on dreams that we want to accomplish and a touch of magic. I believe that every person should look beyond their everyday problems, and try to create their own world as they want it to be. Nobody has the right to judge you for the way you live your life. (by Paula Andreea Toderascu, 15 years old, Student from Romania)
What would I change in this world? Well, that’s easy, because I’m thinking at this question everyday since I was born. Firstly, I would extract, from human brains, all negative feelings and behaviors and I would put them in a box. Then I would burn that box. The world would be better with a positive thinking. Then I would make all people equal, no rich people, no poor people. I also would make people able to understand only one language and I would find an easier way to travell around the world so that all people can socialize easier. Finally I would find a way to offer people more time to live their lives, because I think that 70-90 years are not enough. Everything mentioned above can be realised in way, because the whole planet depends on us. Our actions influence our future! (by Elena Andreea Geana, 15 years old, Student from Romania)
I wish for this world more happiness, friendship, peace, love and caring, no illness or discrimination, more unselfishness, hugs, flowers, smile, laugh and MUSIC. This are the things that I like to change in this world. It will be better for us. (by Alina Augusta, 37 years old, Singer & Composer from Romania)
The world is permanently changing and, even if we don’t realize, we forget how to be human. We are desperately looking for money, a good job, luxurious things and we don’t realize that the time is passing and it never comes back. If I had the power to change something in this world, I would definitely change human mentality. Life is not just having an exhausting job or a big house, life is about being happy, being surrounded by the people you love and spending your time with them. We are in a terrible hurry and, when we realize it, we are out of time. So we have to enjoy every little thing in life, to pay attention to all details and to love every moment to the full. (by Teodora Ioana Sica, 16 years old, Student from Romania)
I would like to have the power because I think that I have good ideas to change the world for the better. Firstly, one measure would be to improve the relationship between the people of the world by speaking the same language, English. Secondly, another idea would be to eliminate the borders between countries by using the same phone network. Also, the borders could disappear by giving free holidays to people who want to visit other countries. Another good idea is to protect the environment, because we are running out of natural resources. I’d like to help people who are in need because it is wonderful to know that someone will be grateful all his life for helping him. In the end, I think that by helping people and protecting nature I could change the world. (by Rares Ciobanu, 15 years old, Student from Romania)
If I had the power in my hands, I would like to change the attitude of people. I want to change them into polite, caring and nice people. It would be very helpful if all the people could join forces and do the same. World would change radically if I could do that, people would be happier. What is happiness? It’s a choice, that we all have the power to make. (by Mara Ecaterina Lupes, 15 years old, Student from Romania)
If I had power, I would change a lot. I would build more schools and more houses for the poor, I would plant many trees and, why not, I would employ many people for a good economy and for our prosperity. I would convince our foreign neighbors to come and invest in Romania because it’s a wonderful country and because it deserves all the good things. I would organize the army better and I would start to be in good relations as much as possible with our neighbors. For our expectations to be met, firstly we must change ourselves for the better. (by Bogdan Marian Moisa, 16 years old, Student from Romania)
I think being the owner of such a big responsibility requires a lot of wisdom and knowledge about the world in which we live. In my opinion, the main problem is that the people don’t care about each other anymore. This is the consequence of our egos and beliefs, so I think if we only tried not to be so judgmental and understand that the people are different, things would change for the better. There would be no more hatred, no more envy. I think that would be the perfect world: being free to admit your religion, your orientation or your thoughts, without being afraid of what people think about you. It is such a small thing, but it means so much. I believe that just loving each other would definitely change the world. And this change doesn’t begin with the whole world, but with every single one of us. (by Stefania Mocanu, 16 years old, Student from Romania)
If I had all the power of the world, I would pray for the people to enjoy every little thing they have. If I had super powers, I would want to find a cure for all diseases (cancer, handicaps, diabetes etc.), and I would make it possible for all people to stay with their loved ones. If the power of this world lay in my hands, I would order everyone to love, to be happy. I would make hospitals and schools the main institutions in the world, I would take care of nature. If I ruled the world, I would want her to look like paradise: candy trees, mountains of ice cream with strawberries and chocolate and candy flowers. (by Costina Nicoleta Matees, 15 years old, Student from Romania)
If the power were in my hands, I would build places for homeless people, I would put big taxes for the mothers who abandon their children, I would forbid the animals from being killed and uproot of the plants endangered. I would find a way to avoid wars between countries, I would ensure everybody a place to work, I would make cheaps: bills, medicines and food. I would suggest everybody to use electric cars to pollute less the air, I would ban littering the water and I would install more rubbish bins. (by Flavia Maria Badita, 16 years old, Student from Romania)

If I had the power to change the world, I do it! I could like to change some people who don’t know what is love for animals, for other people, for our planet. Who don’t know to accept the simple people who don’t have more many and power. I could like to change the people who cry very much because they are alone, no family, no friends. The world would be better if people would fall in love with each other, if we love and accept ourselves and then life will be wonderful and full of peace and love. (by Adelina Denisa Gabor, 16 years old, Student from Romania)
Power is an ability to cause or prevent an action, make things happen, the discretion to act or not act. If the power were in my hands I would first like to change the human mentality. With this power I could bring all people living at the same level and rights will be the same for all, regardless of social class. On the other hand, justice is essential for a better functioning of society and the power would make it possible for me to implement it in everyone's mind and life. Last but not the least, I would bring a smile to the face of every person, because nowadays people have forgotten the beauty of life. (by Cosmina Iuliana Roman, 15 years old, Student from Romania)
If the power were in my hands, I would like to make people to take part in blood donations. Many countries (especially Romania, Australia, Britain, Canada, and the United States) frequently experience record lows of blood stores and desperately need more people to donate. It only takes about half an hour and does not hurt. Another problem witch I like to change is salary. I think it is a problem because a lot of people are working hard and get small salary. (by Constantin Cristian Nicolae, 17 years old, Student from Romania)
If I had the power, I would first change the look of the country. On the one hand, I’d try to persuade people not to throw garbage away, to try using cars less because the exhaust fumes are an important cause of the air pollution. On the other hand, I’d employ a lot of people for cleaning up, sweeping the streets, mowing the lawns and I’d help them, too. I really want to live in a perfect world where all humans are in tune with nature, without quarrels between people. If I had the possibility, I’d make not to exist thieves, murderers or hurried drivers who cross the red light. I’d build plenty of houses for the homeless, give them a chance to have a normal life, help them get a job and raise their children. I think that people should have equal rights, they should help each other and protect the environment. If we damage the nature and spoil the relationships between people or hurt other people, we do nothing but hurting ourselves. We should be united, avoid fights or wars and try to live together in harmony. (by Diana Georgiana Prisecaru, 15 years old, Student from Romania)
In my opinion if I the power were in my hands, I would change this world in new world. All people would have a good life, an easier life. I’d change people’s attitudes towards discrimination and racism. People aren’t different and no matter their skin colour, weight, beauty or country of origin. You need people to pay more attention to life. If the power were in my hands I would create people who save poor people. (by Georgiana Cernea, 15 years old, Student from Romania)
If the power were in my hands, I would like to change people’s attitudes. I would make them better with one another and make them think only about good things and help each other. I would take care of the poor and I would give equal chances to a good education to all the children in the world. I would protect all of our natural resources because all of these make our life healthy. In my world, all the people would be smiling. (by Anca Elena Sarbu, 16 years old, Student from Romania)
If I had the power in my hands, in the first place I would like to build houses for the poor, to give them a place to work. I wish every man to have enough money to fulfill all their dreams and desires. I would like to help sick people, specifically children because they represent the future of every country. Last but not list, I would like to find the cure for cancer. (by Ionela Emanuela Simion, 24 years old, Teacher from Romania)
Personally, if I had the power in my hands, I would like to change the lives of lots of poor children, especially African children, who were abandoned or don’t have a house or parents and I would fight for this cause because everybody deserves to have a home. I would also change their education; many children can’t speak or read because nobody is concerned about that. I would find other solutions to improve their living conditions and I would help them learn many good things about what life is and how they can live it so as to be wonderful. (by Otilia Evelina Apreotesei, 15 years old, Student from Romania)
If one day I were in a leading position in Romania, I would definitely take care of the education system, to be the first in the world. I am worried about the level of education of my own country because it is the only way to civilize the citizens of a state and what makes them to evolve technologically. I strongly support my point of view, I am sure that school can definitely light the darkness perceptions and could to simplify the number of poor people in a country. (by Daniela Gheorghe Palade, 17 years old, Student from Romania)
If I would have the power I would try to make Romania a better place for his inhabitants. Firstly, I would disolve the Parlament because it is full of coruption. I would focus my efforts on improving the sanitar sistem and protecting the enviroment. In addition, the persecution against animals would be punished more severe. And, in the end, I would give a law against uncontrolled consuming of alcohol. I hope you would like my country! (by Maria Magdalena Ghitu, 15 years old, Student from Romania)
To begin with I would like to say that we all have the power to change things in this world, only if we want to. So, I think it depends on us and on our real motivation to make things work the way they should be and on our benefit. On the one hand, if the power were in my hands I would like to raise people’s awareness to the importance of making their own life happier so that they could live longer with no regrets, enemies, hate, discrimination and other negative feelings. On the other hand, I would change people’s personality and character so that all the nations in this world could live in peace and harmony. Finally, on the basis that we all are equal as human beings I would make every country be ruled according to the same set of rules and principles. (by Lacramioara Bordeianu, 37 years old, Teacher of English & French from Romania)
